EJ #27 - Still fantastic after all these years
The Shakedown Shuffle concert was my 27th Jingle Bell Jive, with the first one being 43 years ago at Boston Garden. He still amazes me with his music. Easily the best rendition I've heard from him EVER, the performance of Levon was incredible. The play list was from the "old days" and the venue needs to work on entrance/security procedures. Before scanning tickets, the line to get inside the facility was slow and going through security was foolish. Work their way past the ticket scanner and wandered in to mill around or stand in entrances to sections to hear the concert, people could have. The incredible performance did not detract from the logistics problems, however.
